An anchor text is to post our websites link and a proper keyword of our website's content in a hyper link that we post on other sites. An anchor text is a combination of a websites link and a keyword of any content of that website. Sometime we don't post our websites link directly on other sites. We post backlinks with anchor text of our website when it is needed. For example, We normally post backlinks with anchor text on forums, blogs etc but don't post backlinks with anchor text on social bookmarking sites, web directory sites etc. We post the websites link directly on them.
